What we do
The centre offers free, independent information, assessment and advice on equipment that can improve the independence and safety of older and disabled people in everyday activities.
Liverpool Disabled Living Centre provides:
A permanent display of over 2000 products
An information service covering over 20,000 products
Individual equipment assessment with an occupational therapist for people who live in the Liverpool City Council area
The opportunity for people to see and try equipment
Lift advice sessions for people who live in Liverpool who are considering buying their own stair lift, vertical lift.
Advice on how to obtain equipment and sources of funding
Free fact sheets and information packs on a huge range of equipment and services
The centre does not sell or buy equipment
How to use our services
Appointments with the centre’s occupational therapists are available to people who live in the Liverpool City Council area or are registered with a Liverpool GP, to arrange an appointment call the centre on 0151 296 7742.
